ReplyDeleteAvoid getting them. Use Chamois Butter available from Performance everytime you put on your cycling shorts. (Even if it's for only a 1 hour ride to town or something.) If you do get a sore, use more chamois butter next time, but sometimes, it's better to let the sore dry out by not applying anything to it when you are not on the bike.
For anything more than 2 hours on the bike, plan on more than Gatorade to fuel your day. You might want to locate Gatorade Endurance or try a sports drink with protein such as Hammer Nutrition's Sustained Energy or Perpetuem.
